Kasab's confessional statements to be given to Pakistan

Mumbai, May 5 (ANI): The Special Public Prosecutor in the Mumbai terrorists attack case, Ujjwal Nikam confirmed that the trial court has been requested to give its consent to send evidences including the judicial confession of the lone surviving accused of 26/11, Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, to the Pakistan Government through diplomatic channel.

"We have also moved the court that some of the evidence in the shape of document, which was collected during the course of investigation, will be required to be sent to the Government of Pakistan as per their demands because certain conspirators have already been arrested in Pakistan. The Government of Pakistan would like to have those documents. Therefore, we are sending those documents," said Nikam.

He also mentioned that they have filed another application requesting that non-bailable warrant be issued against the 35 accused of Mumbai terror attacks and who are wanted by the police.

Further he said that the court has fixed Wednesday as the date to consider this plea on non-bailable warrant by the prosecution and pass necessary orders.According to prosecution, Kasab along with nine other gunmen arrived in Mumbai via sea route from Pakistan to terrorise the city.
